Speaker Bio
Colonel Jon Strizzi is the Director of the Space Systems Integration Office (SSIO) for the
United States Space Force and for the Department of the Air Force, Office of the Assistant
Secretary for Space Acquisition and Integration. He directly supports the Assistant Secretary
Service Acquisition Executive (SAE) as well as the Senior Advisor to the SAE and the Senior
Advisor for Space Command, Control and Integration (SASC2I). SSIO’s laser focus is to
integrate the National Security Space Enterprise to Deter, Defeat, and Dominate adversary
threats. Col Strizzi is responsible for end-to-end mission integration & analysis, system of
systems engineering, and enforceable technical governance for an $88B portfolio of space &
ground systems across 9 Program Executive Officers / Portfolio Acquisition Executives and 22
worldwide installations. He leads SSIO to integrate space superiority mission threads to field
lethal & resilient capability; integrate space effects into air, maritime, homeland defense & joint
fire missions; bolster the space industrial base & supply chain; direct enterprise modeling,
simulation & analysis; implement “Exploit-Buy-Build” solutions; prioritize USSF resources; and
promote Digital Ecosystems. Prior to this role, Col Strizzi was the Director of Engineering for
the Assured Access to Space PEO, the Chief Engineer for National Security Space Launch,
and held a variety of NRO operations & engineering positions. Col Strizzi earned his Doctorate
at the US Naval Postgraduate School and currently champions cross-PEO/PAE integration, space-
enabled kill-chain gap analysis with solution roadmaps, Artificial Intelligence incorporation into the
Space Enterprise, the Space Mobility & Logistics Ecosystem, and collaboration partnerships with
Combatant Commands, NRO, SDA, Space RCO, MDA, NASA, industry, academia and allies.
