Speaker Bio

Col. Stevie Medeiros is Commander of System Delta 84 (SYD 84),
Space Systems Command, Los Angeles Air Force Base, Calif. In
this role, Col. Medeiros is responsible for delivering space-based
battlespace awareness and end-to-end sensor-to-shooter
capabilities for the warfighter through rapid development and
integration of Missile Warning, Missile Tracking, and Missile
Defense with interagency, industry, and allied partners.
Col. Medeiros received his commission in 2002 after completing
Air Force Officer Training School, Maxwell AFB, Ala.
Prior to his current position, the colonel was the Senior Materiel
Leader, Strategic Missile Warning Ground and Integration
Acquisition Delta, Space Systems Command, Los Angeles AFB,
Calif. He also served as Chief, Pentagon Support Group, Mission
Integration Directorate, National Reconnaissance Office (NRO). He
is a Program Management Advanced Practitioner and has held a
wide breadth of assignments in the space, aircraft, laser, nuclear
weapon, electronic warfare, and Battle Management / Command,
Control, & Communications (BMC3) programs at multiple management levels.
