This includes prioritizing and allocating warfighter and enterprise requirements for Space Systems Command acquisition\, identifying\, and addressing interdependencies and gaps in the space enterprise\, and collaborating with space stakeholders to develop future resilient capabilities in support of the joint warfighter. \nPrior to this position she was the Deputy Director for the Space Systems Integration Office managing the Organize\, Train\, and Equip functions for approximately 300 military/civilians. She held several positions at Space & Missile Systems Center (SMC) before it’s designation as Space Systems Command including managing SMC’s investment funding and acquisition reporting at the portfolio-level and the Center’s independent cost estimating and earned value efforts. Col Roach has served in a variety of Minuteman III Intercontinental Ballistic Missile crew positions including Chief of Training\, Senior Instructor Crew\, Training Section Chief\, and Instructor. DESCRIPTION:Space Industry Days sessions are open to all government\, industry partners and contractors. The sessions will feature government and industry speakers discussing current initiatives and emerging challenges. \n \nAFCEA Los Angeles\, the General Bernard A. Schriever Chapter of the Air Force Association (AFA)\, the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA) Greater Los Angeles Chapter\, and the Southern California Aerospace Professional Representatives (SCAPR) are proud to announce Space Industry Days on October 18-19\, 2023. \nSpace Industry Days provides industry an opportunity to receive presentations from US Air Force\, US Space Force\, and Space Systems Command (SSC) senior leadership on current and emerging opportunities. The conference will focus on the future of military space in the new DoD Service. USAF/USSF Senior Leaders and SSC program offices will share their plans for the next five years and panels of industry representatives will provide their perspective on challenges they are facing as they develop aerospace solutions. \nThe event will provide an environment for participating attendees from both the government and commercial sectors to interact on the issues important to the future of SSC. The feedback generated from the Space Industry Day will help inform government and industry alike as they work though the major issues challenging the future of the nation’s space capability. \nThe first day will kick off with a welcome and comments by SSC/CC\, followed by multiple senior leader presentations and industry panels. The PNT Delta (Provisional) is a ground-breaking blend of operations\, sustainment and acquisitions units designed to increase unified mission readiness and resiliency of the GPS Constellation. In this role\, Colonel Menschner is responsible for around-the-clock operations of 37 GPS satellites; providing warfighters and four billion worldwide users with position\, navigation and timing capabilities; oversight of a $11 billion portfolio focused on development of advanced command and control capabilities; and production and launch of GPS satellites.\nColonel Menschner received his commission from Drake University in 2001. She leads the SSIO team in uniting the Systems-of-Systems integration effort across all SSC PEO portfolios and with mission partners in the National Security Space enterprise. Prior to joining the Space Force\, she led the Graduate Systems Engineering programs at Loyola Marymount University. She previously worked for the US Air Force as a member of the Senior Executive Service\, as the Director of the Launch Enterprise Directorate\, Space and Missile Systems Center\, Air Force Space Command\, Los Angeles\, Air Force Base\, California. She was responsible for leading the acquisition\, integration\, development\, production\, operation and sustainment of the Evolved Expendable Launch Vehicle Program. \nDr. Leon held a variety of leadership positions in industry\, government and academia. She started her career at Hughes\, Space and Communications Group in 1979\, in the Propulsion Department. She gained experience across the company\, in Systems Test\, Systems Engineering\, Line Management\, and Program Management through positions of increasing responsibility. Riedel\, a member of the Senior Executive Service\, is the Director of Contracting\, Space Systems Command\,\nLos Angeles Air Force Base (LAAFB)\, California. She advises 5 Program Executive Officers for Space Programs on acquisition strategy\, contract execution\, and contracting policy and procedures. Ms. Riedel is responsible for more than 600 contracts valued at $72 billion and the career development and training for more than 320 military and civilian contracting professionals. \nMs. Riedel began her Air Force career in May 2003 after graduating from the United States Air Force Academy with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management. During her four-year Air Force career\, she was responsible for a broad range of contracting activities including negotiating and administering multi-million dollar efforts\, interpreting acquisition policy and regulations governing DoD procurements\, and advising the program manager on key decisions by translating complex requirements into executable and sustainable contracting strategies. \nShe separated from active duty with the rank of Captain in 2007 and continued working for Air Force Space Command\n(AFSPC) as a support contractor with MCR Federal. She began her career in civil service in 2011 as the Contracting\nOfficer in Charge of the Enhanced Polar System (EPS) Control and Planning Segment (CAPS) Source Selection in the\nMilitary Satellite Communications (MILSATCOM) Directorate at LAAFB. She then moved to the Advanced Extremely High\nFrequency (AEHF) program where she was the Contracting Officer responsible for a suite of contracts valued at over\n$10B. Following her time in MILSATCOM\, Natalie was promoted to the position of Deputy Chief of Contracting for the\nSpace Superiority Systems Directorate. In that role Col Little leads a diverse portfolio acquiring over $1.4B of antenna services and data transport and networking capabilities. \nCol Little entered active duty in 2002 as a distinguished graduate of Clarkson University’s Reserve Officer Training Corps after earning his undergraduate degree in Aeronautical Engineering. At his first assignment\, Edwards AFB\, California\, Col Little was assigned to the F-22 Raptor flight test program as a Performance and Air Data Engineer. In 2004 he was accepted into the Air Force Institute of Technology’s Astronautical Engineering program at Wright-Patterson AFB (WPAFB) in Ohio. Upon graduation in 2006 he moved to Los Angeles AFB\, CA to take on a number of positions integrating space\, ground and user equipment at the Global Positioning System (GPS) Joint Program Management Office\, including Deputy Chief\, GPS Systems Integration Branch. From there Col Little was selected to join a Special Programs unit at Hanscom AFB\, MA in 2010 where he managed a $400M classified portfolio. His efforts earned him a seat at Air Command and Staff College at Maxwell AFB\, AL in 2013 where he graduated with academic distinction. In 2014 Col Little reported to the Pentagon where he served in the Secretary of the Air Force’s Acquisition Integration Directorate as an analyst and as the Military Assistant to the Deputy Assistant Secretary (Acquisition Integration). Upon being selected for command\, Col Little took over the $1B Protected Tactical Enterprise Service program as the Materiel Leader and led his team to an Air Force nomination for the 2018 Packard Award. He subsequently served as the Space and Missile System Center’s Section Commander\, responsible for good order and discipline of over 1\,400 service members. Following his Material Leader and Command opportunities\, Col Little was assigned as the Deputy Chief of the Advanced Development Division and subsequently picked to be the Chief of Staff for the Space Sensing Directorate\, before serving as Chief\, Enterprise Requirements and Architectures Division in Space Systems Command’s Space Systems Integration Office. \nLt Col Little deployed to Iraq in 2007 in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom\, and to Qatar in 2015 in support of Operations Inherent Resolve and Freedom’s Sentinel. He has since served in a wide breadth of assignments at the joint and headquarters level from space to unmanned aerial vehicles to supercomputing and command and control. His career has included assignments at the Space and Missile Systems Center\, US Southern Command\, the office of the Secretary of the Air Force\, the Missile Defense Agency\, as well as the Air Force Research Laboratory and Electronic Systems Center. Prior to his current position\, Col. Spencer led the Space Based Infrared System Geosynchronous Earth Orbit (SBIRS GEO) satellite 5 and 6\, the Wideband Global SATCOM (WGS) satellite 11\, and the Enhanced Polar System program offices. He also was responsible for developing\, planning\, and standing up the United States Space Force’s acquisition field command – Space Systems Center. SSC has a flat organizational structure with distributed S-Staff responsibilities to deliver capability at operationally relevant speeds. Previously\, Col Spencer led the certification of the SpaceX Falcon 9 and Falcon Heavy rockets along with Blue Origin’s New Glenn rocket. As part of the Evolved Expendable Launch Vehicle (EELV) future acquisitions branch\, he was responsible for developing and awarding the launch service agreements (LSA). Furthermore\, his expertise in satellite orbital design\, ground development and operations\, and launch systems integration and operations enabled him to contribute to the development of novel aerospace solutions. \nFrom 2016 to 2018\, Mr. Dolan served as the Executive Director and Senior Materiel Leader\, Launch Enterprise Systems Directorate\, SMC\, USAF.
