MENSCHNER\nColonel Andrew S. Menschner is the Commander\, Position\, Navigation and Timing Delta (Provisional)\, Space Operations Command\, Peterson Space Force Base\, Colorado. The PNT Delta (Provisional) is a ground-breaking blend of operations\, sustainment and acquisitions units designed to increase unified mission readiness and resiliency of the GPS Constellation. In this role\, Colonel Menschner is responsible for around-the-clock operations of 37 GPS satellites; providing warfighters and four billion worldwide users with position\, navigation and timing capabilities; oversight of a $11 billion portfolio focused on development of advanced command and control capabilities; and production and launch of GPS satellites.\nColonel Menschner received his commission from Drake University in 2001. DESCRIPTION:Space Industry Days sessions are open to all government\, industry partners and contractors. The sessions will feature government and industry speakers discussing current initiatives and emerging challenges. \n \nAFCEA Los Angeles\, the General Bernard A. Schriever Chapter of the Air Force Association (AFA)\, the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA) Greater Los Angeles Chapter\, and the Southern California Aerospace Professional Representatives (SCAPR) are proud to announce Space Industry Days on October 18-19\, 2023. \nSpace Industry Days provides industry an opportunity to receive presentations from US Air Force\, US Space Force\, and Space Systems Command (SSC) senior leadership on current and emerging opportunities. The conference will focus on the future of military space in the new DoD Service. USAF/USSF Senior Leaders and SSC program offices will share their plans for the next five years and panels of industry representatives will provide their perspective on challenges they are facing as they develop aerospace solutions. \nThe event will provide an environment for participating attendees from both the government and commercial sectors to interact on the issues important to the future of SSC. The feedback generated from the Space Industry Day will help inform government and industry alike as they work though the major issues challenging the future of the nation’s space capability. \nThe first day will kick off with a welcome and comments by SSC/CC\, followed by multiple senior leader presentations and industry panels. Col Roach has served in a variety of Minuteman III Intercontinental Ballistic Missile crew positions including Chief of Training\, Senior Instructor Crew\, Training Section Chief\, and Instructor. This includes prioritizing and allocating warfighter and enterprise requirements for Space Systems Command acquisition\, identifying\, and addressing interdependencies and gaps in the space enterprise\, and collaborating with space stakeholders to develop future resilient capabilities in support of the joint warfighter. \nPrior to this position she was the Deputy Director for the Space Systems Integration Office managing the Organize\, Train\, and Equip functions for approximately 300 military/civilians. She held several positions at Space & Missile Systems Center (SMC) before it’s designation as Space Systems Command including managing SMC’s investment funding and acquisition reporting at the portfolio-level and the Center’s independent cost estimating and earned value efforts. She followed that assignment as Chief\, Space Vehicle Engineering Branch at the National Reconnaissance Office where she led a 1\,500-member joint team for $4.3B+ SIGINT space vehicle development. As SLD45 commander he is responsible for base infrastructure for more than 15\,000 military\, civilian\, contractors and dependents at Patrick Space Force Base\, Cape Canaveral Space Force Station and Ascension Island. He leads the safe and secure processing and launching of U.S. Government and commercial satellites from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station\, Florida. As range director he is final approval authority for all launches\, landings and DOD testing to include Kennedy Space Center satellites and human crew on the Eastern Range\, a 15-million-square-mile area that supported 36 launches in 2021 with nearly double planned for 2022; aboard Falcon 9\, Falcon Heavy\, Atlas V\, Delta IV Heavy\, USN SLBMs\, and Astra while onboarding Vulcan\, Starship\, Blue Origin\, Relativity Terran I and others. DESCRIPTION:4TH Annual Women In Defense – Greater Los Angeles Chapter\nWHITE PARTY\nWomen In Defense\, Greater Los Angeles Chapter (WID-GLAC) third annual WHITE PARTY will be held on Sunday\, August 21\, 2016 in Long Beach\, CA. The event serves as a benefit to raise funds for HORIZONS Scholarships and to honor the achievements of several outstanding women within the Southern California Aerospace and Defense community with our chapter’s Service to the Flag Award. The event will be held at The Hotel Maya\, in Long Beach\, CA on August 21\, 2016 from 10am-1pm. It is a beautiful setting right on the water of the gorgeous Long Beach Marina. Guests are encouraged to wear White Attire or Service Dress. This is an excellent event to bring friends or family with you as the atmosphere is relaxed and enjoyable for all. Ample drinks\, plentiful food\, music and a spectacular view will be included.
